To all 7th District voters:

Choosing to vote in the Sept 9th Republican primary for Alan Roebke (REB-key) is a progressive vote to put all the issues on the table for 7th District residents to see and understand, before they vote for a new Congressmen in November. While a vote for Glen Menze is a rubber stamp approval, to return Collin Peterson and his lack of leadership, that has failed to address the needs of the people of rural Minnesota and the Nation. For after 18 years of Collin Peterson we have a mess on our hands, $4 gasoline, an economic and housing crisis, a continued lack of affordable healthcare, yet he still handed out more farm subsidies to the Districts richest residents to enjoy, while others go without the essentials of modern life! Now see additional reasons to vote for Alan Roebke (REB-key) from his response to the questionaire from the league of Women Voters of Minnesota.

1. Why are you seeking a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives?
Because I have a valuable lifetime of experiences and travel needed to address the challenges of today's world. For experiences, both good and bad give me the talents and values needed to make things happen for the good of all. For I'm not asking to be sent to Washington to add to the debate, but as a person who knows how to get things done. Which is my track record, which is also something my harshest critics know to be true!!!!!!!!!

2. What measures should the U.S. Congress take to address rising food and gasoline prices and related economic concerns?
Start by addressing out of control commodity speculation, which is one of my many life experiences, both good and bad, as a futures trader and hedger. For the House Agricultural Committee's job is to regulate commodity futures trading, yet Collin Peterson and his Ag committee have failed the American consumer miserably in this area!

3.What next steps should the U.S. take in the Iraq conflict?
Follow John McCains leadership and experience in foreign affairs and keep terrorism at bay! How would you work to get other members of Congress to agree? Remind them that taking the fight to the dens of terrorism, has kept our homeland and it's citizens safe, in a very dangerous world.

4. Do you believe healthcare is the responsibility of business, government and/or individuals?
First we can't control the cost of healthcare without business leaders addressing the issue and government addressing pharmaceutical distribution and pricing. What is your vision for healthcare in the U.S.? That all businesses contribute to the healthcare of their employees, including dental care!!!!!!!!!!!

5. What are your top three foreign policy priorities?

(A)That all nations that trade with us, start contributing to the cost of civilizations war on terrorism,
presently lead and funded by the U.S. taxpayer!
(B) We end hunger in Sub-Sahara Africa with donated U.S. Grains!
(C) We address world currency trading and speculation before it puts the world economy in bankruptcy!

6. What federal action do you support to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, which have energy, environment, food, health and security impacts on the nation and the world?
First we push/force the use of plug in hybrid vehicles as soon as possible. Mandate the use of 10% ethanol in all gasoline, because it has worked well in Minnesota and this years corn crop will produce enough corn based ethanol for a 8% blend in all gasoline in the U.S. even without imported ethanol or cellulose ethanol production. Plus double our nuclear electrical production, expand wind, solar, geothermal and clean coal energy sources!

7. What steps should be taken to lower the United States' deficit?
Start with a cut to outdated farm subsidies and just go down the line and review all major government outlays and replace the cuts with market driven economic forces, driven by policy changes and balanced revenue!

8. Is there a role for the federal government in assisting to alleviate the mortgage loan crisis?
Yes, because the housing mess was caused by failed congressional over site! Yet the just approved bailout of the banks and real estate industry for 400,000 home owners by the President and Congress is not the answer. We must walk through the problem step by step and not run for political cover like our government leaders just did!

9. What should the federal government do to address the state of the nation's infrastructure?
Address the issue with a balanced tax approach to the users of the infrastructure but keep a close eye to the fact that simple repairs can often address the problems. Case in point, we are replacing a bridge in St. Cloud Minnesota for $32 million that news reports said could have been repaired for $320,000 or 1% of the cost of the new bridge!!!!!!!!!!

10. What, if anything, should the federal government do to address the student loan crisis?
First we must see these loans are set up as a bankable loans! Then we must address our out of control cost of higher education! Often double or triple the annual cost of inflation, which I do not except as managing costs.
